Level 2 Electrician
A Level 2 electrician works on defined parts of the connection between a property and the electricity distribution system. What Level 2 Means
NSW accreditation allows approved businesses to carry out defined contestable network services. Level 2 covers constructing or changing service lines between the distribution network and the point of connection, energising new or altered connections, and defined work on customer-owned network devices at the main switchboard.
Accreditation is not a blanket authority for every network task. Individual workers must also be registered against the accredited business and authorised by the relevant distribution network service provider for the class and network involved.
